Robin Davis is a sharp, creative advocate known for pairing legal precision with innovative problem-solving in her work as a Trial Attorney at Payne Law Firm. Certified in the administration and performance of NHTSA’s Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Robin knows exactly how officers should conduct roadside investigations and how to hold them accountable when they don’t. Her eye for detail and relentless pursuit of the truth ensure no stone is left unturned in the fight to protect her clients.

As a District Court Attorney, Robin reviews discovery, negotiates with prosecutors, prepares for trial, drafts motions, communicates closely with clients, advises on long-term consequences such as sealing and immigration issues, and appears in court daily. Whether she’s helping a client navigate immediate fallout or long-range concerns, Robin brings organization, strategy, and compassion to every step of the process.

Robin’s talent for original thinking emerged early. In law school, she earned the award for Most Creative Argument in moot court, foreshadowing the dynamic litigator she would become. She graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law cum laude, earned certificates in both policing and criminal law, and received the Gold Pro Bono Award for completing more than 100 hours of service. She earned her undergraduate degree at Missouri Southern State University, where she studied Criminal Justice Administration with minors in policing and criminal law.

Her professional background includes working at a private firm practicing criminal defense, family law, and civil litigation, as well as serving at the Washington County Prosecutor’s Office as a Rule 15 student-attorney. There, she participated in hearings and strengthened the courtroom instincts she now uses to defend her clients.

Robin’s courtroom reputation is one of her proudest accomplishments.
Inside the firm, Robin is a cornerstone of Payne Law Firm’s culture. Known for her positivity, warmth, and sharp wit, she has a natural ability to lift the team’s spirits, even on the busiest days. Her desk, overflowing with greenery, reflects her nurturing personality and love for growth, both personally and professionally.

Robin is driven by a deep love for people. She believes that every client deserves compassion, dignity, and a fierce ally in their corner. She practices with a trauma-informed lens and approaches each case with empathy: she will cry with you, be angry with you, and fight for you. Clients take comfort knowing she has poured every ounce of strategy, heart, and brainpower into their defense. Many clients leave a lasting impact on her — she misses them long after their case is closed.

Outside the courtroom, you’ll find Robin reading or tending to her plants. She has three cats, Baxter, Eugene, and Mango, who serve as loyal coworkers when she’s working from home. Her favorite nonfiction book is The Body Keeps the Score, and she counts To Kill a Mockingbird among her favorite novels. She also enjoys having Bob’s Burgers on in the background.

Robin grew up in Mountain Home and now lives in Fayetteville with her husband. If she could share a meal with anyone, she’d choose Sandra Day O’Connor, the first female U.S. Supreme Court Justice, or her own grandfather, who inspired her deeply and would, she believes, be proud of the person and attorney she has become.

Robin describes her motivation simply: she wants to make people proud, her clients, her family, her colleagues, and herself. She loves learning her clients’ stories and sees every case as an opportunity to help someone rewrite a chapter of their life. At Payne Law Firm, she is grateful to work in a community-centered environment where client care always comes first. Everything she does, she does for them.

Some of her most-loved quotes include:
“It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.” — Confucius
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” — Winston Churchill

Creative, composed, and relentlessly dedicated to her clients, Robin Davis is the attorney you want when the stakes are high and when you want someone who won’t just fight for you, but fight smart.
