Alexis is a Felony Investigator and Head of Legal Operations at Payne Law Firm, where she blends deep system-level knowledge with a genuine passion for helping clients through some of the most stressful moments of their lives. With certifications as an Arkansas District Court Clerk and Certified Court Manager (CCM) through the National Center for State Courts, Alexis brings an exceptional level of expertise and professionalism to every case.

Before joining Payne Law Firm, Alexis served as a Chief District Court Clerk, gaining extensive experience in court operations and developing the meticulous attention to detail that now defines her work. Today, she draws on that background to support clients in felony matters, investigate complex legal issues, and ensure each client receives clear communication, steady guidance, and a sense of reassurance throughout their case.

Alexis holds a degree in Organizational Management from John Brown University, a foundation that enhances her ability to manage moving parts, maintain accuracy, and operate efficiently under pressure. Her thoughtful approach and practical mindset make her an invaluable asset to both clients and attorneys.

Outside of work, Alexis lives in Northwest Arkansas with her husband of 20 years and their two children. She serves her community on the Friends of the Library Board, indulges her love of reading, and occasionally attempts to improve her relationship with houseplants—an ongoing adventure, as she cheerfully admits.
