As a Receptionist and Client Success Specialist at Payne Law Firm, Kaylei is one of the first friendly voices clients encounter when reaching out for help. She assists clients by gathering important information, offering guidance on next steps, and ensuring communication flows efficiently between clients and the legal team. Her goal is to help clients feel supported and understood from the very beginning of their case.

Before joining Payne Law Firm, Kaylei worked as a closing manager at Harps Food, where she developed strong customer service and leadership skills. She was drawn to the legal field by the opportunity to help people and put her customer service strengths to meaningful use.

Originally from Lincoln, Arkansas, Kaylei moved to Fort Smith before settling in Prairie Grove. Outside of the office, she enjoys being outdoors, skateboarding, gardening, hiking, and exploring new places. She also loves uplifting people, making them laugh, and creating a comfortable environment where others feel heard. Her two cats, Runt and Vbuck, keep her company at home.

She knows how stressful legal issues can be and believes in creating a judgment-free space where clients can communicate openly. She works to gather helpful information to ensure the attorneys have what they need to provide the strongest possible support.

Kaylei appreciates being part of a team that truly enjoys helping others. She is motivated by her desire to be a reliable resource for clients and team members alike. Outside of work, she enjoys watching shows like American Horror Story, Smiling Friends, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. She’s an avid horror movie fan and is currently building her DVD collection.

If she could have dinner with anyone, she would choose serial killer John Wayne Gacy, intrigued by the opportunity to understand how he perceived the world. A quote she lives by comes from Avatar: The Last Airbender: “It’s important to draw wisdom from many different places.”
