As Chief of Staff at Payne Law Firm, Klisha is the operational backbone of the team. She manages district and federal case flow; oversees filings, notices, and case updates; and ensures clients receive timely communication and reliable support. Whether she’s coordinating new intakes, streamlining internal systems, or spotting opportunities for better processes, she keeps the entire firm running smoothly, efficiently, and with a steady focus on client care.

Before joining Payne Law Firm, Klisha built a deep foundation in court operations and client service through roles at Springdale District Court, Texas Health Physicians Group, and Hood County Court at Law in Texas. Her time working within the court system—ultimately earning a promotion with Springdale District Court—taught her the power of strong administration in protecting people’s lives. Reducing errors, improving communication, and ensuring cases moved correctly through the system allowed her to make a real difference for her community.

In addition to her certification as a Certified Court Clerk for the State of Arkansas, Klisha holds two professional IT certificates and is currently working toward a third, adding technical depth to her already impressive skill set. Her ability to bridge legal processes, client needs, and internal systems is invaluable to the firm’s daily work.

A Northwest Arkansas native, Klisha spent several years in Texas before returning home in 2021. Outside the office, she can usually be found outdoors or lost in a good book, especially anything by Stephen King. She’s left-handed—a fun bit of trivia—and a proud regular at Homegrown, where she’s their self-proclaimed number-one fan.

Klisha describes her approach to client service as informative and patient. She doesn’t sugarcoat, but she listens closely, helping clients stay grounded, informed, and supported. If someone needs information, she walks them through it; if they just need space to vent, she’s there for that too.
